San Francisco-Fairfield:
Steve arrived safely after a few hiccups. Day 1 was a pleasant 150 km jaunt with jet lag! They stopped off at a local vineyard, but Steve claims they didn't touch a drop!?

Fairfield-Sacramento:
An easy day. 80 fairly flat km's...wait until he hits the Sierra Nevadas!

Sacramento-Auburn:
"Who needs hill training??" These are a little bigger than Oliver's Hill.

Auburn-Truckee:
Today I received a txt from Steve that said:"Just done 9hours of straight climbing! Up 9000ft!!!!"
