Today was the longest leg of the ride, otherwise it was uneventful...lots of cows!

Garden City -Dodge City (Kansas)
"This town ain't big enough fer the both of us."
Dodge City was a true frontier settlement of the Old West. It had more famous (and infamous) gunfighters working at one time or another than any other town in the West; it also boasted the usual array of saloons, gambling halls, and brothels established to separate a lonely cowboy from his hard-earned cash, including the famous Long Branch Saloon and China Doll brothel. Wyatt Earp and Wild Bill Hickock land...

Dodge City-Great Bend

Great Bend-McPherson
1854 miles (give or take a few). Day 26 is the halfway point in terms of days!

McPherson-Abilene
Crossed the America by Bicycle halfway point today...a mark on the road and a big cheer.

Abilene-Topeka
Into the capital city of Kansas today and Wayne, Al and Steve were all interviewed by a news station.
